National Art Honor Society is accepting applications for new members! Applications are available on the Art Department website or email Mrs. Dinunzio, carrie.dinunzio@rhamschools.org. NAHS is a service organization focused on bettering the community through the visual arts.  Applicants can be in grades 9-12 and must show artistic scholarship, service to the community and strong moral character.  Service hours are required to maintain membership and opportunities will be made available to fulfill those.  We’ll meet mostly virtually this year, once a month, and possibly in person for event prep. If interested, see Mrs. Dinunzio or Ms Fisher with questions or complete and submit your application to any art teacher by Oct. 16th.

This year the Independent Study Program will run virtually.  Any Sophomore, Junior, or Senior who wants to earn credit by studying a topic of their choice should see Mrs. Buebendorf in room 132 or Mrs. Penrose in room 138 for more information.


There will be a virtual College Fair held on October 1 from 7:30am-1pm for Juniors and Seniors!
Students Schooling From Home can log into any college visit they would like to attend from home. Students in the building can come to the small gym and log in with their chromebook to watch the visit. Students do not need to sign up to attend, but must have teacher permission to miss class. Keep an eye out for an email with all Colleges attending with times and links to the virtual events!


GSA will be meeting virtually on Thursday's at 2pm. If you  would like to attend please email Mrs. Cushing or Mrs. Van Cott or see Mrs. Van Cott in RM 328.

Artwork pick up from last year's art classes
Students will be able to pick up artwork from all of last year's art classes during period 5,6 and 7 the week of Sept 28th-Oct 2nd. All artwork from last year's grades 8-12 will be available for pick up in the high school gallery in the atrium. Art teachers will be on hand to help students locate work.
